Yes, indeed, all of the excitement of being pushed through the birth canal can really take it out of you. But his fun wasn't over for the day. After a while the nurse took Calvin and gave him a Vitamin K shot, a glucose test (standard on babies over 8 lbs 4 oz.), a bath and took other vital statistics. He's resting easy now but wait until he finds out that the circumcision will happen tomorrow. Of course these pictures are being posted after the circumcision, which he survived and doesn't appear to be traumatized. Or at least much less trauma than he can look forward to being raised by me and Tamara.
